- Payload and cycle requirements are calculated from the package weight, dimensions, pick position and target pallet pattern
- Bag, carton, pail and crate handling normally require different gripper concepts and product-contact checks

System FAQ
How is the robot payload selected for a palletizing application?
Selection must include the product, gripper, cables and any additional tooling, while also checking reach and cycle time at the required pick and place positions. Package weight alone is not enough to select the robot.
Can one palletizing cell handle different products?
Multiple products and pallet patterns can be evaluated when their dimensions, weights, infeed presentation and gripper compatibility are known. Changeover steps and any tooling or program limits should be defined in the proposal.
