Working Principle
Filled bags are arranged on a pallet at the robot picking position. The 4-axis robot moves to the selected bag and grips it using a piercing-type bag gripper. The robot lifts the bag from the pallet and transfers it to the cutting station. At the cutting position, the bag is moved across or lowered onto the cutting device. The bag body is slit while positioned above the receiving hopper. The robot then performs a programmed shaking and tilting movement to discharge the powder or granular material from the opened bag. The shaking pattern and duration can be adjusted according to the material flowability and residual material requirements. After the material has been discharged, the robot moves the empty bag to the designated collection area. The robot then returns to the pallet and begins the next unloading cycle.

Is the unloading capacity fixed?
No. Actual capacity depends on the bag size, bag weight, cutting method, shaking time, material flowability and pallet arrangement.
Can the system be integrated with downstream conveying equipment?
Yes. The receiving hopper can be connected to screw conveyors, pneumatic conveyors, vacuum conveyors or other material-transfer equipment.
