How to Integrate a 20–50 kg Granule Bag Filler with an Existing Conveyor and Sewing Machine

A standalone bag-filling and weighing unit can be evaluated when a plant already has a suitable conveyor and bag sewing machine. The key question is not simply whether those machines are present. The complete material path, bag support, transfer height, line speed and control sequence must work together.
COMPATIBILITY REVIEW
Seven checks before selecting the filling unit
Material flow
Provide the material name, bulk density, particle size, flowability, moisture and whether dust or corrosion must be controlled. These details affect the feeding and weighing method.
Bag specification
Confirm the target weight, bag width and length, mouth style, bag material and whether the empty bag can be held securely at the filling spout.
Required output
State the required bags per hour or tonnes per hour. The target must be checked against material flow, operator actions and the speed of the downstream sewing process.
Conveyor geometry
Measure the belt-top height, usable width, length, speed range and distance from the filling position to the sewing-machine infeed.
Bag support and transfer
A filled open-mouth bag must remain stable as it leaves the clamp and transfers to the conveyor. Review bag-bottom support, guides and the risk of tipping or product settlement.
Sewing-machine interface
Provide the sewing-machine model, infeed height, operating speed and any bag-top guide or thread-cutting arrangement that affects the transfer path.
Utilities and controls
Confirm voltage, frequency, phase, compressed-air conditions, available control signals and whether the filling unit must start or stop the existing conveyor and sewing machine.

Integration FAQ
Can an existing conveyor always be reused?
Not automatically. Its height, width, speed, bag support and transfer position must match the filled bag and sewing-machine infeed.
Is the bag sewing machine controlled by the filler?
The required control relationship depends on the existing equipment. Confirm whether simple independent operation is acceptable or whether start, stop, alarm and interlock signals must be exchanged.
Can a quotation be prepared from photos only?
Photos are helpful but normally insufficient for interface confirmation. Add measured heights, widths, speeds, electrical data and the required output.
When is a complete line the safer choice?
A complete line should be evaluated when existing equipment is undocumented, unsuitable for the required output or difficult to coordinate mechanically and electrically.
